Whether you’re in a rush or just not feeling like cooking, our plant-based microwave-ready meals are an easy and convenient way to enjoy tasty vegan meals.

We’ve reimagined Australia’s favourite homestyle meals to be entirely Made With Plants so that you don’t have to compromise on taste or quality to enjoy a plant-based meal.

Now, you might be wondering what a plant-based meal even is. Will it be filling? Can I get enough protein? Is it even a complete meal?

We’re proud to offer a quality range of plant-based foods – all of which are high in protein. Our ready meals boast tasty plant-based ‘meat’ with an authentic flavour and mouthfeel, just like their traditional counterparts.

But why would vegans want to make their food taste like meat?

At Made With Plants, we believe that if we can enjoy the same flavours we know and love without the animal cruelty, then why not?

Like you, we enjoy a variety of tasty proteins in our diet, and we believe protein is an important part of Australia’s food culture. After all, most Aussies were raised on ‘meat and three veg.’

We created our plant-based ready meals to make it easier for everyone to choose kinder options.

So, what are our plant-based meals made of?

The meat alternatives we use in our plant-based meals are made of seitan, textured soy protein, or a mixture of both.

Made from vital wheat gluten, seitan is protein-packed and incredibly versatile. In fact, seitan can contain more protein per gram than animal meats! It can be adapted to mimic the texture of a variety of animal meats, making it a great base for creating plant-based meat.

Textured soy protein (TSP), as the name suggests, is made from the humble soybean. This plant-based ingredient is high in protein, low in fat and contains essential amino acids.

We work closely with the specialist team at Australian based Fenn Foods, to bring you TSP in a range of tasty plant-based meals.
